IREMA, Instituto de Reproducción de la Marina Alta, is created in order to cover a non-existent service up to today in the region of Marina Alta and adjacent regions.
IREMA is formed by a wide group of professionals by great experience in all the areas of the assisted human reproduction, gynaecology, reproductive biology, andrology, personal of laboratory and nursing. Offering besides, a personalized deal with the patient, studying exhaustively his reproductive problem and offering the alternatives adapted in every case.
IREMA is integrated inside the Hospital and Maternity AQUARIO, for what we have all the services that offers a hospital of 29 specialities, since they are services of gynaecology, urology, unit of radiological diagnosis (TAC), laboratory of clinical analyses, operating room, and comfortable rooms.
IREMA offers an integral service to treat the problems of reproduction, with the most modern available technology nowadays, realizing all the skills of assisted reproduction allowed in our country, as the Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), Donor's Intrauterine Insemination (D-IUI), the Fertilization classic In Vitro (IVF), the microinjection intracitoplasmática of the sperm (ICSI), program of donation of oocytes (for women who for certain problems cannot ovulate), sperm bank, and one of the most novel and current skills, the preimplantacional genetic diagnosis (PGD), it is, genetic study of the embryo before being placed in the uterus of the future mother, avoiding possible malformations and the transmission of hereditary diseases, obtaining a healthy son, who is the object of all our efforts.
