IREMA is comprised of a team of highly experienced professionals from all the different areas of reproduction including, gynecology, reproductive biology, andrology, embryology and nursing.
IREMA offers a personalized attention to the patient, providing a thorough evaluation of the couple’s infertility problem and offering the solutions that apply to each case.
IREMA´s facilities are located inside the Hospital and Maternity ACUARIO. For this reason we can offer our patients twenty-nine different medical specialities and a wide range of services including obstetrics and gynecology, urology, radiodiagnosis (TAC), clinical laboratory, operating room, and very comfortable rooms for patient hospitalization.
IREMA offers an integral service to the couple in order to solve their specific infertility problem, using state-of-the-art technology and performing all the assisted reproduction techniques currently available which are allowed by the Spanish assisted reproduction legislation, one of the most liberal in the world. These assisted reproductive techniques include, Intrauterine Insemination with Husband´s Sperm (IUI), Intrauterine Insemination with Donor Sperm (D-IUI), Conventional In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), IntraCytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Egg Donor Program (for women that produce fewer oocytes and/or these are of poor quality), Sperm and Embryo Cryopreservation, and some of the recently developed assisted reproductive techniques such as the Preimplantacional Genetic Diagnosis (PGD), that allows the genetic assessment of the embryo before it is transferred to the uterus thus preventing potential genetic malformations and the transmission of hereditary diseases in the offspring, making possible the birth of a healthy baby which is, after all, our ultimate goal.
