Follikel, d.h. wir erhalten eine gr\u00f6\u00dfere Anzahl von Eizellen als in einem normalen Menstruationszyklus, um eine ausreichende Anzahl von Embryonen zu erhalten und damit die M\u00f6glichkeit einer Schwangerschaft zu erh\u00f6hen. W\u00e4hrend dieses Prozesses, der normalerweise zwischen einer Woche und zehn Tagen dauert, werden Hormone verabreicht, die das Wachstum einer gr\u00f6\u00dferen Anzahl von Eizellen erm\u00f6glichen. Es wird 36 Stunden vor der Eizellentnahme verabreicht. Diese Eizellentnahme erfolgt im Operationssaal unter Sedierung mit einer speziellen Nadel, mit der die Fl\u00fcssigkeit aus den Follikeln, die wiederum die Eizellen enthalten, durch die Vagina aufgefangen wird. Im Labor werden sie von dieser Fl\u00fcssigkeit getrennt und in einem Inkubator in ein N\u00e4hrmedium gelegt. In einer Kulturplatte werden mehrere Mikrotr\u00f6pfchen vorbereitet, in die wir eine angemessene Konzentration von Spermien geben. Sp\u00e4ter platzieren wir in jeden dieser Mikrotropfen ein Ei. Auf diese Weise dringt innerhalb weniger Stunden eines der Spermien in das Ei ein und f\u00fchrt zu einer Befruchtung oder Fecundation (dies ist eine <strong>In-vitro-Fertilisation<\/strong>).
