facilitare l&#8217;eliminazione delle cellule inutili o con difetti. In questo caso, la sua funzione \u00e8 applicata alla selezione degli spermatozoi. Il principale vantaggio di questa procedura \u00e8 che permette di realizzare trattamenti riproduttivi con materia prima ottimale, precedentemente filtrata e selezionata in base al suo potenziale riproduttivo. Cos\u00ec, solo gli spermatozoi pi\u00f9 adatti, i pi\u00f9 sani, purificati, con una percentuale molto pi\u00f9 bassa di alterazioni morfologiche, una percentuale molto pi\u00f9 bassa di frammentazione del DNA, e spermatozoi con una migliore motilit\u00e0, passano alla fase successiva, in modo tale che le possibilit\u00e0 di concepire un embrione, impiantarlo e dare origine alla gravidanza sono moltiplicate al massimo.
