Deze methode wordt toegepast wanneer een koppel vanwege vruchtbaarheidsproblemen niet op natuurlijke wijze zwanger kan worden.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Met kunstmatige inseminatie wordt, met relatief weinig inspanning en investering, de kans op zwangerschap vergroot. Dit sperma wordt in het laboratorium eerst bewerkt; het wordt \u201cgewassen\u201d of geconcentreerd om het sperma te scheiden van het zaadvocht en om zo veel mogelijk beweeglijke zaadcellen te behouden. De inseminatie gebeurt met een zeer fijne canule via de baarmoederhals in de dokterspraktijk en duurt slechts enkele minuten.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Voor een succesvolle inseminatie is het belangrijk dat de eileiders doorgankelijk zijn. toegepast wanneer het sperma van de partner geschikt is, maar er toch een probleem is waardoor zwangerschap via geslachtsgemeenschap niet lukt.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mogelijke oorzaken zijn: problemen bij sperma-afzetting in de vagina, onvruchtbaarheid van cervicale oorsprong, ovulatoire disfuncties of afwijkingen in
