In tegenstelling tot de traditionele ICSI, waarbij alleen de buitenkant van de zaadcellen wordt beoordeeld, maakt IMSI het mogelijk om met een speciale microscoop ook intracellulaire structuren te bekijken.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deze techniek detecteert onder andere vacuolen \u2014 kleine holtes in de cel die schadelijk kunnen zijn voor het chromatine (het genetisch materiaal). Door deze diepere analyse kunnen we de meest kwalitatieve zaadcellen selecteren, wat de kans op een succesvolle bevruchting en een gezonde embryo-ontwikkeling
