Senare placeras ett \u00e4gg i var och en av dessa mikrodroppar, och p\u00e5 s\u00e5 s\u00e4tt kommer en av spermierna inom n\u00e5gra timmar att tr\u00e4nga in i \u00e4gget, vilket leder till befruktning eller fekundation (detta \u00e4r <strong>in vitro-befruktning<\/strong>).
